TO USE AIRPORT PROPERTY TO CONDUCT CORPORATE DRIVER TRAINING ON FEBRUARY 17, 2015; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Synopsis: Approves a Facilities Use Agreement with Driving Dynamics, Inc. for corporate drivers training on February 17, 2015.
SEISMIC AIR GUN TESTING – RESOLUTION 2014-168 OPPOSING SEISMIC AIR-GUN TESTING IN THE ATLANTIC OCEAN; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Synopsis: Opposes seismic air-gun testing and urges President Obama’s Administration to stop this process and focus on ensuring the vitality of vulnerable local economies along the Atlantic Coast. Ms. Erin Handy of Oceana will provide a brief presentation regarding the effects of seismic air gun testing.
VEHICLE PURCHASES – POLICE DEPARTMENT - RESOLUTION 2014-169 APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF FOUR (4) VEHICLES FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT THROUGH THE FLORIDA SHERIFF’S ASSOCIATION VEHICLE BID AWARD; PROVIDING FOR EXECUTION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
